UNDERSTAND THE DATA, DEFINE THE USE

Technical detail
that guides your choice.

Composition, appearance, and bonding

BlueTeak® is an engineered durable natural wood component. The glue lines reproduce the characteristic striped grain of solid teak. The data sheet specifies EN 314, Class 3 bonding, suitable for exterior environments.

To define the complete system, discuss the substrate, installation adhesives, joints, and finish with the material supplier and deck builder.

Density and dimensional stability

The declared density is 0.67 g/cm³. Dimensional stability is rated Class A under UNI 11538-1; volumetric shrinkage is below 0.1%, and radial shrinkage is 0.2%.

These data provide a basis for comparison. When sizing a component, consider them together with the project’s geometry, substrate, constraints, and operating conditions.

Durability and exposure conditions

The data sheet lists Class 1 for fungi, Class D for wood-boring insects, and Class M for termites. It lists Class 5 for marine use. Read these classifications alongside the original document and its cited standards.

Material selection must account for expected exposure and the construction system. For special conditions, request an application-specific assessment.

Mechanical data and project documentation

The available document does not provide compressive strength, bending strength, or modulus of elasticity values. It is therefore not a complete basis for structural design: request the necessary data before uses that require specific engineering checks.

Also agree on dimensional tolerances, any samples, certification documents, and specification requirements before supply.

Installation, finishing, and maintenance

Wolz Nautic Italy is the point of contact for deck construction. Substrates, construction details, installation, finishes, and maintenance must be defined for each project; this product data sheet does not replace an installation plan.
